Valo Industries implements 1st commercial autonomous UAV charging system

We are thrilled to announce that Valo Industries made the first commercial sale of contactless charging systems. Valo Charging System will be used to service and support the Sky Tronic UAVs fleet.

 

Sky Tronic is a high-tech company specializes in designing and production of the novelty steering and flight control systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or drones. It’s based in Wroclaw, Poland and was established by researchers of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. It is a next step in commercialization of wireless drone charging solutions.

 

– We will be able to redeploy the capital into new investments that are in-line with our strategy of focusing on high-tech, wireless energy transfer and drone industry. It is a great possibility of putting our solutions to real-life test – says Karen Oganisian, CEO of Valo Industries.

 

Sky Tronic provides new steering and navigation systems for unmanned aircrafts, that are capable of accomplishing the special missions (i.e.: search and rescue, surveillance, crisis management services) in difficult terrain and weather conditions. Therefore, cooperation with Valo and implementing the Valo Charging System was a “natural movement”.

 

– The Valo Charging System allows its users to operate the drones without the need for additional technologically advanced systems. Due to its lightweight, small size and weather resistance construction it can be mount in hard-to-reach places. This means, that our systems can be placed on high roofs, chimneys, offshore platforms and other places where large and heavy equipment can’t fit –adds Oganisian.
